Somewhere between Little Italy and Soho, the guys at Torrisi Italian Specialities are serving up food with a bit of irony in their hearts. While the decorative arrangement of Stella D’oro and Polly-O is anything but authentic, one bite of the well-executed turkey hero (with spicy sauce) was enough to give me pause. If “fusion” is wrong, this place does not want to be right.
